Today marks the first day of March and the start of Women’s History Month, a time to recognize the contributions that women have made to our nation. Yet in 2018, the extent to which a working mother or minority female professional can contribute to her organization (and her nation) is still widely debated. As a result, many women opt to postpone or forego having children altogether, for fear that being a mother will affect their career trajectory.
